Mi Casa Supper Club

A new restaurant called Mi Casa Supper Club opened up in the San Antonio Del Mar area of Rosarito and it is pretty amazing. We have eaten there a couple times, a bit on the pricey side but well worth it for the quality of the food and the ambiance. It looks like the only thing they have is a Facebook Page. Don't be scared of about being a member of their supper club (although we did join) as that is only required to go to the month planned menu event. On the facebook page if you scroll through a few of the posts you will run across the September menu. They change the menu monthly. We are going to go tonight. The oysters are on par with Deckman's in the Guadalupe Valley.
It is amazing the number of restaurants that are opening up right now.

On a different note, the whole entrance to SADM is getting a major overhaul. The once vacant commercial buildings are getting tenants. WE are getting a barbershop a silver store, a pizza place and a food tienda that I am told will be selling trader joe like items. For the past few years we only had a small breakfast place (Conrado's that is always busy) and an over priced medicore Italian place (Gusto's)

Nice to see that the local economy is improving enough to support so much!

As a member of Mi Casa Supper Club, I will tell you it is a fantastic place.
They do 2 full dinners a month, but they are opened for Tapias 4 or 5 days a week. It is well worth the money.

Wow you have to make quite a trek to get there. Do you travel with Punta Banda crew on their bus dinners? Have run across several Punta Banda owners at different events .Love the way they organize events together!

Shoot! We were at our casita @ SADM and passed by it several times thinking it hadn't opened. We saw a few cars near by but didn't put it together.
Saw a few changes @ SADM also. The best of which is the use of T.J. Auxiliary police for security. Looked a lot more professional & actually asked us a few question upon not recognizing us.
Next trip we'll try it out for sure.
Thanks for post.:)

Skip,

We usually drive up in our car and stay with friends in Rosarito.
But yes we do the bus for many of the wine events from my house here in La Jolla Beach Camp.
What a wonderful area to live in.
