Impressive! And surprised he wasn't flying the helo.

We were at the HDRA Reno 500 a couple years ago - BJ landed his helicopter next to us (he was a student pilot), and chatted it up with us under our EZ Up shade. He had a sprain or something, which prevented him from participating in the race - someone else was driving his truck. So we got to learn about piloting a helicopter from BJ.

That's Cool SS, Them guys are livin my childhood dream, when I was young me & my bro's would tear up our town I had a 2100cc baja bug and No shtz we would jump curbs tear up peeps yards ect,, we were bad, I am sorry for what I did now kinda but don't regret it 1 bit,,Thanks for the vid TW

Very impressive!!! For sure!!!
But for the amount of money invested it outta be good.

We finished second in the pickup class in the 1972 1000 with a total investment (including vehicle, support, everything) for just over $5k.

Back then it was all about the driving,
today it is more about the equipment.

Just saying....

still impressive
but for a million bucks.... nah, that was then, and this is now.

Them were the days....We built a Chevy S10 class??? drove it to Ensenada for the 500 and drove it home.....

We spent 20k in 1985 to run a Honda 250 quad. Racing is expensive.
