What it is saying is Joe a father of 3 children lives in a small fishing community he like many has lost his home and everything else , at the moment they are being fed and cared for in a hostel run by the Mexican Navy. They have no work and they are very sad and very desperate and there are no rental homes available.

I got that he lives in El Pescadero (it's just South of Todos Santos).
I think that's the first vid I've seen of the area since the hurricane. We have a place near there.

how do i donate money to help out families like that one?

EngineerMike - 9-22-2014 at 03:54 PM

Apple- The trick right now is to find a conduit. In Mulege we have the Rotary stepping up to handle distribution of donations, bug spray, etc., and in-kind donations that show up in town can be dropped off w/the Bomberos.

Each area needs to beat the drum for the best conduit for your area, the most mission focused. Its tough w/out boots on the ground. I guess Mulege has prior experience which helps at a time like this.

.
...also realize that by the time an individual's been covered by the press,,they're likely to have been taken care of.......overall his story highlights -many- stories--it's best to find a well organized group that spreads support out unless you know a specific family to help.

...here's threads with links to funds for various areas...... http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=75394
