There are many private gas pumps at many of the regular gas stations that have separate pumps you can use a card they issue and pump your own fuel. They bill you once a month. The truckers use these a lot and they are at all truck stops. You save a couple of cents per gallon and have the fun of pumping your own fuel if you like.

but you still have to drive 55 to get there?

oregon's beautiful, just having a little fun.....

We were on the Oregon Coast a couple of weeks ago and all the restaurants were serving very fresh salmon --- delicious!

john68 - 10-1-2014 at 02:20 PM

Just don't ask the restaurants to cook the salmon you caught--we were told it's unlawful for them to do so.

willardguy - 10-1-2014 at 02:25 PM

maybe we'll see King's in san quintin again!:tumble:

My cheese slices just came out exactly even with the number of crackers left in the box....

Hear the story a few yrs. back, a guy catches a salmon on a day
boat out of Cabo, in the ice chest on the boat, don't remember
how long he let the prank go, then confessed to bringing the
salmon down from the Northwest

We were there also at the same time. They're selling yellowfin tuna at the docks.

I finally got to meet sharksbaja in person. He's not posting much here any longer.

Willardguy, there was a King salmon caught here in San Quintin on Tuesday. It was caught by Capt. Juan Cook at the entrance to the bay in about 15 feet of water on a Krocodile.
