The Glorious Arrival of Autumn

DianaT - 10-12-2014 at 07:56 PM

This summer we have traveled quite a bit in Oregon, from the coast to the far northeast, and have worked on visiting more and more of Nevada --- all the trips have been great, but this is what we wanted to share.

This last trip took us, once again, to the Great Basin National Park and we were greeted with a blaze of color!

The color back home here in the Eastern Sierra is also magnificent right now. So where else is someone enjoying this magnificent time of year with all of its colorful glory?

We did fit one short trip to Baja in so we could visit the Home for the Elderly Gentlemen near Camalu that needs so much help, and we really appreciate the nomads who so far have stepped up and helped or have promised assistance in the near future.:yes:

The Great Basin is one of my favorite parks to explore. Amazing that the Aspens are already wearing their full color. Beautiful image, Diane.

And a big hello to you, too, Dennis.
Autumn always brings me back out of hibernation ;)

Nena, Seeing you back in the saddle made me smile as much as seeing all that beautiful color! It must be near the end of garden time. :bounce::bounce::biggrin::bounce::bounce:

StuckSucks --- ah, my back yard! Beautiful --- thanks for sharing!:yes:
