Thanks for the reminder!! It is a great cause, there are a lot of accidents that take place along there.

I made a donation last month and I really felt good seeing the recent posts on Facebook about rescues made by the Desert Hawks. Highly recommend making a donation. They are saving lives, and the next one could be yours!

I made a donation in January this year and just now made another one.
I don't go up the Mex 1 very often and when I do, now I go up through Coco's and Mexicali instead of TJ, Tecate or Otai Mesa, but when I do go, I want these guys on my back!

I just did a donation too. Thanks for reminding me.

After looking through the accident reports on the above fb page, and seeing the Desert Hawks driving down to Catavina to transport people, saving lives, it seems the rumor regarding the ambulance in Catavina is obviously true. It is only a prop, a scam for collecting "donations" for an ambulance that isn't used. I wonder where that Catavina ambulance money really goes?
