Heading down to Campo Beluga for Thanksgiving week. Leaving 11/22/14 returning 11/28/14. Calexico to Gonzaga should be manageable in one day.

Just curious... What would be the point of a caravan? It's paved the whole way.

Calexico to GB = 5 hrs +/-

Caravan just to meet new folks with same interests. I've been traveling to Baja since the sixties so I'm cool traveling without a caravan. We've met
many interesting folks over the years and many times folks new to Baja travel appreciate someone with experience and an understanding of both the
language and cultural insight. Hope that answers your question.

Thanks, I'm sure we will. This will be our first trip to Gonzaga since the road was paved. Not sure if the road has already altered the " Baja feeling
" we used to experience in the good old days. Will more than likely end up going to BOLA also.

It has changed it. Some for the good some for the bad. Has made it more convenient but less serene.
