Looking to make some new Baja contacts that fish , surf, kayak, relax, etc, not neccesarily in that order. Small caravans. Trip lengths around 2 to 3
weeks at a time. I live on the southern Oregon coast and want to get out of the rain from time to time. Baja exp since 1966. Reliable, but 2WD(has
posi) camper rig . Flexible for planning as well as on the road.

welcome to the sandbox Hombre66....we look forward to hearing about your travels and fishing...which by the way is great on the baja pacific central
coast these days so maybe we will see you casting off the beach or from your kayak in Asuncion....good luck finding some amigos to travel with...or
just come on down and meet the folks already fishing!

Thank you. Never been any closer to BA than Campo Rene /Abreojos. Going to run with the idea and do some research.. Water temps are good there in
the winter, verdad?

si hombre...this is one of the great things about this area...warm water till March which makes our winters pretty darn nice. I rarely have to put
shoes on! and we can swim all winter! Today there were lots of people shore fishing and the dolpins and sea lions were fishing with them right in
close to shore...they were all hauling out fish like crazy!

Well allright .... Would you be so kind as to direct me to finding pictures of your campsites, and how you price them? How many surf breaks are within
a 30 mi N to S and the road conditions therein. Also the possibility of finding organic produce at Asuncion. I am feeling lured to the area.. Dan

surf breaks no problema...there are 3 within 15 minutes of town and you can see photos of Campo Sirena at www.bahiaasuncion.com on the accommodations page. Tents $10, Campers $12, RV's $15 and we have wifi, shower, bathroom, laundry and a kick butt
library not to mention shore fishing in front of the camp...but forget about organic produce...my garden got trashed in the hurricanes this year! Lots
of stores though with fruit and veggies just not organic...good ranch cheese too and seafood of course....come on down.

There is a great abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables at the market in Vizcaino, the town where you turn off to go to Asuncion and towns beyond. I
would stop there and stock up.

hey, i'm in San Diego, pretty much looking to get down to Baja frequently for the exact same things you listed. not sure when you are planning on any
mission(s) but if you U2U me then perhaps i can join for a potion. As long as i continue this whole unemployment trend that is.
