San Felipe RV Park Suggestions Needed

bkman211 - 12-3-2014 at 10:13 AM

I am looking for suggestions on beach front RV park or dry camp area for a group of families heading to San Felipe between Xmas and New Year. Here is basics of what we are looking for:
- 5-6 Beach Front Spaces
- Grande Rig Access (40'+) No soft stuff or tight turns, space for pop outs
- Safe, Secure, Family Friendly
- Parking for utility and enclosed toy trailers
- Hookups Optional (power would be nice but not required)

Willing to pay a bit more for quality and don't need to be right in the middle of town. Stayed at club pesco years ago and really liked it, if it remains the same there is no way to get the big rigs into the beach front spaces.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated, gracias!

40ft will limit you greatly in town, and the beach front spaces
in town are usually,at this time of the yr, taken up by snowbirds who stay for a few months. You will get several Petes Camp
posts as a possible spot, which is 6mi no. of town or so.
You mentioned Club Pesca, that would be probably your
best bet in town, tight for a 40 ft. I believe the
spaces at Pesca on the no. side of the Palapa/tienda
have more space for the size you have, as opposed to the
spaces on the so. side

Pete's Camp, and there is a nice restaurant/bar there.
