I brought my Bradley smoker down with me and am looking for a good place to get Pork Butt or Shoulder or Beef Tri Tip or Brisket.
I tried the Tri Tip from Costco and unlike in the US it was terrible...twice now. Tried the Pork Butt from Que Rico in Todos and it was not like the
Pork Butt I am used to, it was more like a Pork Loin.
Need a great butcher shop. I read about Las Palmas in Cabo. Any thoughts on this place or any others in Cabo or La Paz?
Looking forward to smoking Sierra but need to catch more than one every three days! tiotomasbcs - 12-22-2014 at 12:09 PM
There's a butcher just off 5 de Febrero that used to have all the best cuts before Costco or Que Rico. Pacenos?? Good Luck and let us know, por
favor. Tiomonoloco - 12-22-2014 at 12:10 PM
Las Palmas is good, also check out the Madero market in La Paz, they usually have whole pigs and you can select the cut that you want. Also, Alacer
(not sure on the spelling) in Todos Santos on the old bypass road usually has boneless pork shoulders.bajalinda - 12-22-2014 at 06:02 PM
In La Paz, the Madero market and the Bravo market both have butchers. You could also try either of the big Aramburo grocery stores - not the little
"mini" Aramburos. The big stores each have a really good butcher counter. There is one on Forjadores just a block off of 5 de Febrero (maybe that's
the place tiotomasbcs is thinking of). The other one is the store with the statue of the cow on the roof - it's on Madero about 3 blocks off of 5 de
Mayo.
Good luck - hope you find what you need.
Just a feeling

You should go with the one that has the cow on the roof
