Advise for Booking Hotels

Azzy - 1-8-2015 at 05:45 PM

I am planning a motorcycle ride from San Diego to Loreto for 6 to 10 of us and am having a hard time getting ahold of a few hotels that I have stayed at and would like to book reservations with. Does anyone have any advise or previous success at booking rooms at the following hotels?

Baja Cactus in El Rosario (I sent email to motel@bajacactus.com with no response yet)

Hotel Terra Sal Guerrero Negro (I sent email to hotelterrasal@hotmail.com with no response yet)

Thank you,
Azzy

Call the Baja Cactus front desk, using their USA phone number: 619-694-1082 or try Antonio's other email: info AT bajacactus.com

You may want to just call Terra Sal if you can find a phone number. The front desk clerk who checked our party in a few weeks ago spoke perfect English, so no language barrier to deal with. It's a nice place - we will stay there again.

If you want, I can call both hotels for you and make a reservation...just send me a U2U with the info. I just stayed at Terra Sal a couple nights and it was pretty nice...real uptown with blow dryers even! The breakfast was pretty good in the restaurant too.

I stayed both southbound and northbound over the last two weeks. First room was as close to the office as you can be and the wireless was rock solid and fast. Second stay was as far from the office as you can get and I couldn't find the signal. So I'd say if Internet is important ask for a room up front.

Oh, bring extra blankets. The second stay on 1/3/15 it was an ice box in the room. I mean see your breath inside type cold.
