anyone attempted to get a SD plate for a non street legal vehicle? I'd love to strap one to the WR-F. wonder what their laws are Howard - 1-23-2015 at 04:35 PM
I have a Polaris 700 Sportsman ATV with South Dakota registration and a back license plate and keep it current every year for around $25 a year, I
forgot the exact figure. I keep it in Loreto and have never been stopped but have not heard of a non plated ATV stopped either in Loreto.

thanks! thats exactly what I needed to know. its a little different up here in rosarito, theres a alot of riding but getting to it means riding the
highway and in this "new baja" the police are just looking for an excuse to pull you over. I even thought about putting a pizza box on the back fender
but even delivery bikes are licensed!CortezBlue - 1-23-2015 at 05:24 PM
I will tell you, if you call and speak to one of the folks at www.claycountysd.org and tell them what you want to do, they will help you.

... and once you get that info and the registration fee you can pay it and get the plates mailed the next
day over the internet at: https://www.govteller.com/Pay.aspx
