Does anyone know of a bookstore where Baja Almanac is available?
I met 2 travellers in Bahia Asuncion who are headed south for several months. They are staying at Shari's house on south end of town. They are from
the east coast, recent retireees, and are looking forward to exploring Baja AND are in the process of joining Nomad, so please welcome them!
(They will use "BoatMex" as their Nomad account name.)
I am pointing them in the direction of various places (I will U2U people to let you know where.)
Thanks for a helpful heads up re:the Almanac and a friendly welcome to BoatMex!

How about Baja Books and Maps in San Jose del Cabo (Baja Judy's business)? http://bajabooksandmaps.com
Of course that is at nearly the bottom of Baja, so if they still have them, they won't get to use them right away.
If they tell us what areas they plan to off road in, I would be able to help with some localized maps, perhaps? At least until they get the Almanac...
PS They do show it in stock on their mail-order site, so maybe at the store in Baja too? The National Geographic folding map is pretty good, and they
have that too.

Probably doesn't do much good now as you are south, but the gift shop at Malarrimo's used to have them

Juanita at Casa Leree in San Ignacio has them.
Claudia at La Tienda in Mulege has them also.

thanks everyone! I've let them know.
San Ignacio is their next stop after Asuncion. They will stay there a few days before La Bocana.
