lots of life down there right now with every thing so green and flowers every were. we slipped over to the seven sisters for some good weather(light
winds) and lots of xploreing on my quad up to blanco and down to los lobos. if you like pismo clams then youll like this area as the beachs are loaded
with them. after three day we went over to BOLA for the new year and hooked up with lots of friends for docs party. took a trip down to animas on
quads(75 miles round trip) and fished the coast for lots of barricuda and found lots of shells. lots of water in the arroyos right now and puddles
everywere, lots of fun on the quads. there catching halibut of the shores at la gringa and playa raphel south up to ten pounds. another good trip and

Glad to hear that you got some pismos. We got skunked a couple of weeks ago. Too much surf and the tides never really went low. I guess we were just
too lazy to get in above our hips! Last time I was there (last March) we had pismos every day. You're right about the green... very pretty right now.
And is it just me, or do the cardons look bloated?

Baja is almost like a different place when there is a lot of water .....
In SEPTEMBER ... I visited several of the ranchos ... WEST os SANTA AGUEDA ....(which is SOUTH of SANTA ROSALIA) .... and it was so beautiful with all
of the growth and new life from the rains. I told myself that I will have to return at the same time NEXT year .... to take some pictures .....

The trees looked almost like they were covered with moss they were so green, and bent over with all the weight of the water in the tops.
Steve, was that you bringing up the rear of a five, or so, rig caravan heading out of the Sta. Rosalillita area on the 28th? You guys had stopped
there. I think you were driving a white tundra. I stopped at the punta preata junction and waited a while, as I had a present for your new years

we came by on that date but in a silver tundra pulling a trailer with my quad loaded. didnt see you but i had a few beers in me by that time.

I saw that thread on MAGDALENA ... but was short on INTERNET time at the library to give it the proper reply ....
I know several families that live WEST of SJ de MAGDALENA .... but I have been to only a few of their ranchos. I spend most of my time WEST of SANTA
AGUEDA ( population: 50 people) and rancho SAN ZACHARIAS ... 20 KM SOUTH of SAN IGNACIO .... because there are soooo many families to visit .... and
as DAVID K says .... "so little time" ..... my friends don't want me to spend just an hour and leave ...
My next visit will bring many happy faces to the valleys ..... on EBAY I purchased a pound of BEEFSTAKE STYLE TOMATO seeds, bell PEPPERS, and several

Cristobal, might I suggest a packet of Sweet corn to go along with the bounty you will share. It seems all to corn in Baja is of the livestock feed
variety, so it needs to be pounded and made into tortillas to be really good. With everything you bring, you will be a hero when you return during

I have also purchased POUNDS of several different kinds of corn. The guy that I bought the seeds from in PENNSYLVANIA ... sold me a few THOUSAND
envelopes .... to put the seeds in ...
The corn seeds are so large that I will give them away by the hand-full ....

A friend of my wifes ownes the fruiteria on the right as you exit Sta. Rosalia. I am sure you know the one I am talking about. When your amigos
crops come in make sure they take some of it to the stand. Have them mention my wifes name and they will give them a very fair price for their
