With a few days off, I decided to load up the family car and drive south along Hwy 1 for some new Spring-time clothes. I picked up my wife from work,
and we dove straight into Friday afternoon rush hour.
By the time we ended our dinner hour pit stop at the Marshalls in San Diego, we traveled south into Tijuana.
The drive south was amazingly fast. I had expected that the detour from the massive Hwy 1 landslide would still delay traffic, but the only evidence
would be the lights from a workman's generator behind a chain-linked fence just off of the highway.
For breakfast the next morning we found a unique resttrestaurant titled 100% Mexican Food! Being that it was 11 am, the criteria appeared in line with
our taste in food at that particular moment. From there, my Wife was entertained with a trip to La Bufadora for the umpteenth time. Calls from
merchants sounded like desperate pleas from the bowels of kitchdom. Phrases like, "Hey bro! I got the best cigars from Cuba!" And, "Hey my BROTHER
from another MOTHER! Take a look at these fine woven blankets! " Did I mention that my wife LOVES La Bufadora?
After spending 15 minutes watching the tidal swells rush in and out of the crevice, and the unfortunate teenager named Luis hard at work fishing at
midday, we headed back to Ensenada for some Men's clothing.

You ARE the dude! You found T-shirts in Baja that didn't say HOLLISTER on them.
How about Aeropostale? Cali-Style? RAIDERS? So-Cal?

I wonder if they mis name the 250 race to get around trademark issues with Score or???
It is the San Felipe 250 and was only once officially the Baja 250 back when the race had to be moved to Ensenada at the last minute because an ejido
refused to let the race pass through. That caused so much financial pain in San Felipe, I wonder if that ejido person has been ejected from the
region?
