I know there's a thread about this somewhere but I can't locate it. My question is... Is the detour well marked? I'm heading down in a few minutes and
I'm not sure where the detour begins.

I was referring to the downtown area in Ensenada that is having road repairs.

No detour, lanes have been combined into one.

No problems, drove through the construction zone last night. Well marked, traffic moving smoothly.

You can avoid it by taking the eastern route to avoid Costero downtown. But it's not that bad, traffic moves well.
To avoid construction: near the universities (CICESE, UABC) You'll see where there's a Y split in the southbound lanes, a mile or so north of the
port. Go left (east). This takes you up the hill, past the hospital and to the main blvd that you need to take for hwy 1/Maneadero.
Not sure if it saves much time depending on traffic
