Will any on you hardliners please tell me the weather during August and September in San Felipe AND down at Alfonsina's.

Very Hot and also humid... those are the two hottest months of the year. That doesn't stop me and I usually go to the beaches south of San Felipe then. However, if it is too hot for you, just go to the other side, like Punta Cabras http://vivabaja.com/cabras which we did in Aug. 2001.

August and at least half of September is hot and HUMID. Around a hundred plus (102-) but with high humidity to make it uncomfortable. Many of us full timers here take our anual vacations during this period.. This is San Felipe - Gonzaga wouldn't be much different.

There is a pretty accurate Jan. - Dec. weather chart for Bahia de Los Angeles on Camp Gecko's website located in the Activities section. Although you did ask about the temps further north, this chart should give you an idea of what to expect if you turn up the heat just a bit.
