Gonzaga question

Cliffy - 3-21-2015 at 08:53 PM

Haven't done it yet but may this year, Can anyone say if there is space for a shorter (20') travel trailer to park and spend a few days at Gonzaga? Don;t need hookups. We can dry camp for 5 or 6 days. Haven't been there in years.

Rancho Grande has many of the palapas closed in. Just back in between. Check in at the store where they have ice and showers.

Open palapas 140 pesos, closed 250 pesos, at belugas they want twenty bucks. I remember before pavement it was 5 dollars just sayin

depends on perspective. some use it twice a year or less. Others use it all the time.

Coco doesn't want it and Mama Espinoza didn't like it either... so I am basing this on the local Mexican residents along the highway... those who would benefit from increased business, but fear the horrors a highway brings...

Not familiar with beluga's just Papa's and Alfie's
Just sayin- for decades they couldn't make any money now with asphalt they can- wouldn't you? Still a good deal.
How well off was Papa when he passed away? It was a joy to have dinner with him way back when.

alfies....jus a section of beach into the back bay,no paving,no "angle"

David K - 3-23-2015 at 08:12 AM

The beach launch into the back bay is hard pack... just like the runway (well, it is next to the runway)... not soft or gooey.

San Felipe

Puertecitos (out on the point just past the hot springs parking)

mcfez - 3-24-2015 at 09:19 PM

There is a charge for this ramp. Tow vehicle is very safe to leave behind as you go out with your craft.
