Anyone know about what the Mexican government does with these people? I've heard that they do sweeps and clean out all the people and encampments in
the canal, but never really noticed it before. This weekend I noticed that the entire canal, streets and surrounding areas were completely clean of
homeless and trash. Not sure if this is common or not, but was the first time I noticed it. Anyone know whats up?
Where did they go?

Most, if not all of the persons that where camped in the concrete channel were recent deportees from the US and Tijuana didn't want them or had no
place to put them.

Since they can not find work or a place to stay many become recruits for the drug cartels.

After the channel was cleaned up they were bused to somewhere in Mexico, but where?
