I asked the question on another thread about whether all the different new Baja races were going to hurt the number of participants. It appears it is.
The highly touted Rally Raid (first few days) of the NORRA rally only drew 3 cars and 11 motorcycles. I'm glad to say that my favorite, the Subaru
Outback, was the only finisher with 4 wheels! It will be interesting this weekend to see how many racers show up for the Ensenada to Cabo segment. TMW - 4-25-2015 at 11:50 AM
I think NORRA will draw about what it has since starting a few years ago. But it hurts when you have several races close together and the cost is what
it is. Racing with CODE and RECORD is a lot cheaper. The down side is they don't go to La Paz or Cabo. Gulliver - 4-25-2015 at 04:40 PM
Perhaps I'm not reading that map properly (almost certainly!) but it sure looks like most of the race is running right down Rt 1. Is this a trend?rts551 - 4-25-2015 at 05:03 PM
TMW hit it on the head. Its not that any of these races are bad...cost gets in the way and there are only so many "big" ones you can do in a year.

The maps above were the first released by NORRA so pit and chase crews could work out their plans for the race. NORRA has now posted the actual maps
and GPS and a Google Earth file for the race at http://www.norra.com/racer_alerts.phpwillyAirstream - 4-27-2015 at 04:22 PM
Yesterdays results are finally posted on norra.com
