WOW. A Go Pro competitor only better. I'm going to keep an eye out for these. I've always liked Garmin products so I'm pretty sure it will be good.

Ck out the Sony action cam 4k and has a remote live viewer. You can do comparisons on many camera review sites.
There are many cams with better specs than the go pro.

Most beta testers seem to favor Garmins current offering the Verb Elite, viewing the Verb EX as a lessor model which gives up the benefits of the
Elite form factor.
Some think the EX is nothing more then a GoPro lookalike.
There are many POV cameras now, don't hesitate to look beyond the GoPro (and Verb EX).
