Pampas in Ensenada

My wife and I enjoyed our 9th anniversary dinner at Pampas last night. What a treat! The meal started with a salad bar, which was more like an antipasto bar with cheese, salami, olives, mushrooms, marinated fish, sushi, fried bananas, soup, birria and a whole lot more. As soon as you sit, the cuts of meat start coming most of which were fresh off the grill. Different cuts of beef, pork, foul, sausages, tripas and my favorite of the night, beef tongue. Don’t go there if you’re not in the mood for meat.

Finished it all off with a Bailys on the rocks and cheese cake. We’ll be back next anniversary or any other time we have reason to celebrate. All thumbs up!

I LOVE Pampas too...but try not to eat too much at the salad bar which is hard as there is such a plethora of goodies. A tip...sit near the back corner near the kitchen door as you get first slice of stuff coming hot out of the kitchen!!! oh and dont eat the whole day before you go there and wear stretchy pants...hahahahaha!

Glad to hear they are still in business. My wife and I ate there 10 years ago and loved it. the salad bar was incredible.

Guero, several years ago I brought you a power steering pump and we couldn't get a fitting out of it. How did that work out for you were you able to get your core charge back?

Larry, I did get the core charge back, thank you. That fitting was one of those that won't budge with a wrench but when you put a socket to it, presto!

I'm already looking forward to the next visit to the Pampas!

It is at the southern end of the road along the malecon where you turn at the navy base and head up towards Soriana's.
