Woody, I get both of those channels over the air in perfect HD. I'm assuming I'll be able to watch the fight.

elgatoloco - 4-27-2015 at 07:22 PM

Manny is a great role model and huge inspiration. I have always pulled for him. I think Mayweather will win.

msteve1014 - 4-27-2015 at 07:23 PM

Tecate beer is footing the bill, so drink up.

vandenberg - 4-27-2015 at 07:24 PM

Anybody knows of a place to watch it here in Loreto ??

Mayweather will be backpeddling for the whole fight. Hope Manny tags him with one of his old left hooks.

wessongroup - 4-27-2015 at 07:37 PM

Should be an interesting fight ....

Fight in Loreto

Howard - 4-27-2015 at 08:32 PM

Vic's bar next to Conchita's has a banner for the fight outside.

Udo - 5-2-2015 at 05:39 PM

I'll give it a try tonight at about 9:45 p.m.

woody with a view - 5-2-2015 at 05:46 PM

So is the magical way to watch the fight to unplug the coaxial cable from your cable box and plug it straight into the TV? That way you are screaming over the air and Mistey? I know it's channel 57 or channel 15.

Go Manny go!

Edit: damn voice recognition software!

Except I have AT&T U-verse which means I don't use a coaxial cable any longer. So what is the hack for this situation? A box of your favorite carbonated beverage on me for the first person to give me a solution that doesn't involve leaving my house or paying $100 for the fight not counting the $50 credit if I buy an 18 pack of TKT.

Assuming I even knew what you meant by rabbit ears, just kidding, where would those things plug-in if Bugs Bunny happen to be running through my backyard at the moment?

Turtle Soup thread was much more entertaining:lol:

chuckie - 5-3-2015 at 08:40 AM

The fight of the Century took place last July in the parking lot of the Rodeo grounds in Magdalena, New Mexico..

mtgoat666 - 5-3-2015 at 09:33 AM

In the cesspool of bajanomad Offtopic the "fight of the minutiae" has developed over the past week. Elinvestig8tr has challenged Joejoe to a gunfight. I kid you not. A gun fight.

Back to our real fighters,...
Did you see that Justin bieber and the Burger King were the celebrity entourage for the thug (domestic abuser) mayweather, and jimmy kimmel was the celebrity entourage for pacquyo? Why would Burger King advertise with a thug that beats women?

wessongroup - 5-3-2015 at 10:52 AM

Have NO IDEA ...

And gee, wasn't the ending a big surprise ...:lol:

Udo - 5-3-2015 at 11:37 AM

I tried to get the fight on Televisa and Azteca last night, but the screen came out all white. I waited about 45 minutes, then gave up and went to bed.

Didn't miss much. Came on way past my bedtime so I didn't see it. But, according to reports . it went like I predicted, with Mayweather continuously
backpeddling and jabbing and making Pacquaio miss. Boring, boring !!
And then, as predicted, the women beater got the decision.:wow:

Mayweather Marketing

MrBillM - 5-3-2015 at 12:22 PM

It is said that sales of "Mayweather" Wife-Beaters are expected to be a Knockout in the 'Hood.

wessongroup - 5-3-2015 at 12:28 PM

Yes truly an example of what America is all about .. for some, it would appear ..

He should be kicked out of professional boxing

Skipjack Joe - 5-4-2015 at 04:47 AM

He had an unfair advantage. He practiced at home.

chuckie - 5-4-2015 at 06:29 AM

You were there with us... Dontcha remember?

bajabuddha - 5-4-2015 at 06:43 AM

huh...... so did I win??? :?:

Floatflyer - 5-4-2015 at 06:45 AM

It was reported that this "fight" generated more $$ than the GDP of 29 countries! Truly a sad indictment of people's ability to waste money on worthless endeavors.

bajabuddha - 5-4-2015 at 07:18 AM

I couldn't agree more. Since the advent of pay-per-view the sports venue has become phenomenally not only opulent, but no longer the working-class entertainment.

Here's a great article that I really must agree with:

The Last Fight ..........

MrBillM - 5-4-2015 at 04:06 PM

I watched was Gene Fullmer vs. Dick Tiger.

Fullmer was always entertaining to watch.

His strategy always seemed to be letting the other guy wear himself out beating the pulp out of his face.

THAT guy could take a Licking.

He lost his last fight a week ago at 83.
