Hello,
I am looking for a template for rental agreement. I have a prospective house sitter (no rent exchange for being there and caring the property, they
pay the utilities) and I think I should have some basic agreements written down.
I searched the Rollybook but house sitting doesn't seem to apply to any of the info there.
Also, if you have any suggestions what to look for and what I should know when renting my own property in Baja, I appreciate it very much.
Thank you!

here is one
Here is a link to another one, a word document file
I googled housesitter contract - there are many other results there, any of those helpful?

California Apartment Association has a comprehensive rental agreement - it comes up online. It has specific references to California statutes; you
can cross out what doesn't apply, or re-type for your custom needs. I also include a supplemental agreement - how many keys they receive, specific
property use (storage rooms), no holes in the walls, pet regulations, smoke alarm maintenance).

If you want just a simple agreement between the two parties a contract in English is fine, but if you are looking for a legal contract to stand up in
court it MUST be in Spanish (you can have it in both languages, but Spanish prevails).

Ask a Realtor as most handle rental/lease agreements. Spanish is required in any formal document here in Mexico. Let us know what you end up with.
I could use one in the future. Good luck. Tio
