First spell it right:
Concepcion BCS = then you will get lots of trip advisors.

??? I'm sure no one had any idea where BajaBean was talking about. Looks like elgatoloco took a wild guess though and provided some useful information.

I lived on Bahia Concepcion for very long spells; this was beach camping in an RV, not in a built casa. No nothing but a shade palapa on a beach. Hauled my water from Mulege, ran only solar, gray hose, and built my own outhouse(s). My advice to "when to go" is based on this. I've spent over 6 - 7 months in the same spot, 25 miles from town.

Early October through end of May, early June. Load for bear. Better to have and not need than need and not have, as in cold and windy to very warm (not purgatory yet). Like anywhere, you'll have changes of season, different things to deal with, so deal with it, and I hope you enjoy it a tenth of what I have.

Pro's and con's?

Yes. There's nothing can be written here that will do a whit for you until you go to La Bahia and just be. Find a roost, and then take your time when it's breezy (oh, just breezy?) to do some toodling up and down, spend time at each nook and cranny and get to know the microcosm, then move if you want to. Or not. My first camp on the bay was my last one, too...... and stayed on at least 6, visited every one at least a couple of times, by boat, RV, or truck.

Just do it. Have fun, give it my regards. ;)

Too broad question.

What "pros, cons"...
You might not like it at all. Just go there.

temperature-wise, I like October through mid-November. then it gets colder and windi-er, and can get from very cold to very warm in the same day.

I absolutely agree with elgatoloco

Oct-Nov
or
April - May

Even when I was working I always tried to make a point of spend around Halloween time in that area or anywhere in Southern Baja around then.

Thanks all for the advice and the spelling correction "mea culpa". I have been to Concepcion Bay once years ago. Only stayed a little while. We were on our way to Loreto. (Did I spell that right?). It looked deserted but as soon as we got out of the car, five Mexicans appeared out of nowhere with things to sell. I had no idea where they came from. Bought an ironwood turtle. Still have it. Have a great day! ;)
