What type of spider is this? It's hanging out by my front door.

We have some cool spiders in Australia, unfortunatly they're all deadly and are out to kill you. I found a palm - sized spider behind my aquarium here
in China, My Chinese friend told we it wasn't poisonous, so I got rid of my fish and water and made a new home for my furry friend (spiders are much
cooler pets)
Do you guys often find little intruders? Scorpions? Rattlesnakes?
BajaBlanca - 6-15-2015 at 03:37 AM
there are scorpions everywhere in Baja and you must shake out any shoes left outside BEFORE you put them on.
In our 8 years living in La Bocana, we have seen scorpions inside our house maybe 3 times but we are ultra careful to keep screen doors closed at
all times.
we have also seen one rattler on our porch and one other in the dunes -they are out there but not in droves where we are.

Bendrix, if you like pets, check one of these little toys out:

I have a 10 year-old little scorpion carcass I saved for posterity, and it still glows quite well in the dark. A must-have for desert living.

Lots of Rattlers this year. You have to be careful where you walk, and for your dogs.
