About 8 miles northwest from Ojos Negros (east of Ensenada). Gold mine from 1870, and was the seat of government for northern Baja from 1871 to 1882.
Anyone been or have photos of the ruins or cemetery there?
Clearly shown on the 1974 AAA Map:
Not even named on the newest AAA maps...
Back in 1962...
On Google Maps, they show Ojos Negros as 'Nuevo Real del Castillo'! The original site is also shown.MMc - 6-17-2015 at 06:53 PM
We spent the day Nov.1 with a family we know, many years ago (25+). I was my first Dia de los Muertos. No photos.
