OUTSTANDING VALUE

Udo - 7-2-2015 at 12:47 PM

Does the house have a garage?

julienelson - 7-2-2015 at 01:33 PM

The house goes from street to street, backside oversize garage with automatic doors. Paved parking for RV or trailer with hookups. Additional parking for boat. Refer to ad for pictures

Udo - 7-2-2015 at 03:58 PM

We would like to come by to look at the house in person, on either the 11th or 12th of this month.

I'll U2 my info. Julie.

Bajahowodd - 7-2-2015 at 04:51 PM

Really nice.

SFandH - 7-2-2015 at 06:00 PM

It does look like a great deal! Nice house.

IMHO the northern Baja California Pacific coast has the best year round climate on the peninsula. Always comfortable.

Udo - 7-3-2015 at 01:10 PM

I still have not gotten any replies to my U2s.

I don't know if Julie is the owner or a broker. Being that she isa newbie, she gets the benefit of the doubt.

If she reads this, click on the U2U link of the main menu and near your sign-in name.

The only major problem I see is that the property is on ejido land or owned by someone else...and everyone on Nomads always says to run from such property as fast as possible.

norte - 7-3-2015 at 01:46 PM

leased land. you do not own it...so be prepared to walk away from any money you put in to it... many of us have had to in the past. he Mexican people love it.

chuckie - 7-3-2015 at 01:58 PM

AND a lot of us lived on leased land for MANY years with NO problems....How about some facts on the big hit YOU personally took? Stuff like location, dates etc?

Udo, try responding to the craigslist ad, that could be what she is expecting.

Udo - 7-3-2015 at 02:46 PM

I tried logging on to the CL ad, through the link, and no response also. The ad can not be found on the TJ CL, and it was originally listed in May of this year.

SFandH - 7-3-2015 at 02:56 PM

This works

She might be open to renting it for the summer so you can get a feel for the place.

Udo - 7-3-2015 at 04:13 PM

I'll try that Mr. short...thanks!

But, we still would like to look at the place.

All of the land at campo La Jolla is owned by the Pabloff family since the 1950s and was never Ejido land. Sr. Pabloff and Sr. Arnaz (Lomas del Mar) built the road from Maneadero to La Bufadora and are the best landlords around.

Udo - 7-5-2015 at 10:32 AM

I had no idea about who built the road from Maneadero to La Bufadora.

Thanks, Bob.

DENNIS - 7-6-2015 at 04:46 PM

General Arnaiz had the road built. He was general of the sector at the time. Very powerful.
Alejandro Pabloff was a dreamer/developer in the rural area at the time. He wasn't in any financial position to be building roads.

Udo - 7-7-2015 at 09:36 AM

Thanks, DENNIS!

I drove aroun La Jola and foud that house based on the pictures in the ad and there are no FOR SALE signs on the property.. It is number 14G on the uphill side. If you drive thru the gate and turn left at the stop sign it will be the next to last house on the right before the road dead ends. You will not recognize it from this road becase it's on top of a big bank and only the roof line is viible but the gate leading up the steps to the front door is right next to number 90G. If you make a sharp right at the dead end you will get onto the upper road which is where the single car garage and entry to rear of house is. You can continue down that road and it will join up with the road you came in on.

Rosario in the La Jolla camp office on the beach side can tell you who owns it.

Udo - 7-7-2015 at 01:36 PM

What did you think of the place, Bob?

Mr Durrell
Thank you for driving AROUND that you FOUND the house I understand you might be ex-CIA, impressive.

My hats are off to you.

DENNIS - 7-7-2015 at 07:19 PM

I'm starting to get one of those feelings.

You are very intuitive Dennis.

The house is sold. It was sold by the owner and there was never a real estate agent involved.

BajaLuna - 7-7-2015 at 11:53 PM

Udo, there are other places for sale in Campo La Jolla, we were just there in May looking at houses to buy there.

They have a website that you can view houses for sale. And many of the neighbors there will let ya know what's for sale, just talk it up with them, they are very helpful!

I have spent quite a bit of time there over the years, love the place!

chuckie - 7-8-2015 at 02:16 AM

This deal is quite strange...

Udo - 7-8-2015 at 09:11 AM

Thanks, Kristal...perhaps we'll be neighbors in two places.

The owner of the my friend Gordon has accepted an offer from a neighbor in Campo La Jolla and it was an acceptable offer. The house has been sold. Udo has been informed. Your group comments were intertaining however there a few that had no merit. This post will soon be deleted. Thank you from Julie, Gordon and Ramey

rts551 - 7-8-2015 at 02:18 PM

Very strange indeed, Chuckie.
