Slow boring rainy night, came across this video I hadn't seen before.
Is that really Calamajue at 3:27?

No, that's not Calamajué... it looks like Desengaño, the gold mine ghost town on the old road to Bahia de los Angeles.

Lots of San Borja mission and then Rosarito back out on the transpeninsular road... and before the shots of San Ignacio, are some scenes of Highway One under construction outside San Ignacio.

Part One ends at Santa Rosalia (where the pavement northbound reached in 1972).

Part Two shows the beach south of Loreto (Ligüí?) with a panga launching... soon they are northbound from La Purisima to San Juanico, San Ignacio and Guerrero Negro salt works... giant trucks and trailers hauling salt... and some more of Highway One under construction. Camping near Alfonsina's, and the old road south of Puertecitos.
