We are a young 70's Canadian couple of seasoned Mexico Mainland RVers. We have spent a sum total of 3 - 4 years traveling virtually every mainland
state of Mexico. We 'did' the Baja in 1981 in a car and hotels but have not been back since. This trip will be in a 31' Class C towing a small car.
We are heading down in November after a stop in Algodones to complete some dental work started last winter. We will return to Canada at the end of
April so we plan on spending approx 5 months on the Baja. We travel slow, stop where we like it and stay as long as we want. We never make
reservations.
We spend pesos and speak enough Spanish to get by. We love the Mexican people. The general plan is to slowly make our way down the Peninsula, probably
all the way and then maybe returning home by way of the ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan. This decision will be made much later.
We are getting tons of information from the forum. Keep the beer cold for us while we seek the perfect fish taco! We look forward to meeting some of
you.

run into you guys again. Last time was in Jackpot a couple of years ago. U2U if you need any info.

Your profile sounds just like my parents, except they did their Mexican road trips during the 70's and 80's. I think their last trip was in '91'and
just to Puerto Penasco, but they covered most of the country over the decades, starting in 1957.
I might run into you folks since I will be SOB in October and November. If you need emergency dental work after you leave Algodones, I use a good one
in La Paz. You did not mention traveling with pets, but I can recommend a veterinarian on the East side of La Paz that speaks English as if it is her
first language, and it might be.
If you haven't done so yet, go to the trip report forum, and browse for information that has already been posted. When I first did that, I found
answers to questions that I would not have thought to ask!
Have a great trip!

Welcome to the sandbox folks and good for you for coming to do baja this winter...you will have a wonderful time and we look forward to meeting you if
you wander out way. We have a rustic campground with hookups at the beach in Asuncion this central part of baja is still like the old baja...real
friendly! Some people use this area as a base and go exploring in their vehicles they tow...great shore fishing in front of the camp too...have fun
kids!

Vancouver Island is well represented in Baja. Check with Shari and visit me in Bahia Asuncion or I may run in to you at a VI event.

Croft, that is an impressive, nice well rounded resume you're sporting. Yrs back, met a guy in San Felipe in a Bounder MH, had 1 of those maps
with all the states filled in, but this was a map of Mex, all 32
or so states. A lot of my best Mex adventures was not knowing what was around the next bend nor the next day, that sounds
like the way you travel

It will be completely filled this winter!
