Navy in San Felipe

CortezBlue - 7-27-2015 at 08:09 PM

We were at our casa last week and we noticed that there was a huge Navy ship with a high speed chase boat in the vicinity. I know that the Navy is taking over the fish and game job, but it is interesting to see some large water craft for a change

Happened twice in The Olden Daze in Concepcion, and a few times in the Craig Channel / San Lucas area too. Big show, then gone, then a few months nets are back. As The Baja Turns.

MY EDIT: Paying it forward...

Not sure about individual species of dolphin but I know that canned tuna just isn't the same since they went "dolphin free"

I think it is the, and yes I am going to spell this wrong, Tatuaba?

When we go down to the beach there are always several dead Tatuba remains on the sand.

Pepe told me that the Chinese pay big bucks for the innards of the fish.

I rember the price paid is high, looked it up, 1 site claims $7000 dlls in Mex, in China $25000, bladders I think. I assume it is all that folk lore,
aphrodisiac myth, like bear parts, etc. Must be a lot of frustrated
Chinese guys
