I'm heading to Baja and thence to the mainland around xmas and want to buy my ferry tickets in advance (due to the holiday season). But striking out
trying to buy tickets (La Paz-Mazatlan) online on the $&%^% Baja Ferries web site. Keeps telling me that both my wife's and my credit cards are
declined. When I call the credit card companies, though, they tell me that they see no purchase requests having come in from Mexico at all. As a
secondary issue, about 90% of the time I try the site won't allow me to select any number of cabins above "zero." But 10% of the time it does. Odd.
Any advice, amigos, as to how to buy tickets?

Call their offices in La Paz.
They have good English speaking people there and they are usually very helpful.
That's what I had to do when we bought tickets in advance.
