This is what all trucks (and busses) should have in Baja

Forget about using the left turn signal when it's safe to pass. This way you can see for yourself:

Great idea, good luck getting them on Mexican trucks that barely have tread on the tires.

can you get it with Netflix ??????

The left turn signal is sometimes deceptive. I don't know if the guy is going to turn left or let me by.

I'd love to see that system on the road.

Great idea, but because of lawyers, we will never see this in the US.

the intent to turn left is usually accompanied by braking. a flashing left turn signal means pass, unless you are in a town somewhere. drift out and have a peek. if you see nothing but cactus and a 3 foot high drop off give it some gas and move on down the road!

This practice is dangerous in the first degree.

A couple weeks ago I signaled left to indicate I was going to pass the truck in front of me and the guy behind me thought I was telling him to pass me. I just about ran him off the road.

It's a bad bad custom. Indicate right if you want someone to pass you.

It has always worked well for us! Always keep your eyes on the guy
behind you be for you pass!
