bringing a mexican registered car from mainland relocating to Baja , need to get Baja sur plates on it,,,,,,,,any help would be great

Easy, just walk into the municipaly on calisico and there are 3-4 guys that will do the work for you for a small fee. That is their private job. You
cant miss them as they will notice you look lost and confused and will come up to you and ask if you need help. Let them do it as you can come back
the next day and they will have it all done for you. Might cost you all of 200 pesos. Or you can have any abogado (sp?) lawyer do it for around 2000
pesos.

I'm a little confused. If it already has Mexican plates is there a law that says you have to have BCS plates? I mean I see a lot of vehicles from
Sinaloa, DF and other areas here. I know that to get local BCS plates you just have to go to Transito with your paperwork - maybe start there. Ask a
cop where Transito is in La Paz.
