1. Put the social security in your name not the builders
builders will hold you hostage at the end for your letter of liberation
if it is in your name you can verify payments as your house is progressing
2. Don't pay your contractor more than 20% to get started and don't let them talk you into extra draws during the process.

I love my bancomer online banking and pay most things with it, power, phone, cell, contractors, building supplies etc. I opened a US dollar account to
put dollars in then you can transfer pesos to your normal peso account when convenient.
