willyAirstream - 8-31-2015 at 08:34 AM

north rio boat launch open, easy access even at high tide. New road from El Patron to the rampand 3 new palapas, 4th under construction. Someone is optimistic! ie Pre hurricane season hurricane construction.

NICE, hope it makes it through the "Season".

Thanks for the update. Did the "sandbar" at the bottom of the ramp get dug out/wash away?

Stay cool !

IDK but boats have been launching there. cool here today, only 90 degrees and 35 % humidity, 10:15am

willyAirstream,

Is there a sandy place to pull the boat up on the beach after you launch so you can park the truck/trailer?

What's your opinion about security for parked vehicles when you're out in the boat?

Thanks.

Plenty of room to park your rig and no security problems, but if you are worried, pull up near El Patron Restaurant and ask that they keep an eye on it and have a few beers there when you come back in.

Richard .. good news for the northern side.. hope springs eternal optimism. Any good news for the southern road dwellers?? roads ? boat ramp? good looking women? free beer? all good reasons to 'come on down' ...

SOL on the southern side. Road is doable, but no major work being done. Boat ramp and that area have been improved, dock is currently in storage for Hurricane season. Beer is almost free. Plenty of good looking women, as always.

Willy-
Beer is almost free and plenty of good looking women......
You must be the tourism director! I have always liked Mulege, but it seems to be getting better and better!

Beer is "ALMOST FREE !!" You've been hanging around with Adolfo too much. "Buy two, get one!!" Love the Mulegé lingo. "if you are worried, pull up near El Patron Restaurant and ask that they keep an eye on it and have a few beers there when you come back in."

Good that the Old Baja still survives.
