Make Taco

huesos - 9-3-2015 at 05:28 PM

In my constant attempt to escape the tyranny of the table, I look for less than pretentious food operations serving quality food skillfully prepared. I was eating at El Yaqui and talking with the owner as his to go plate arrived by bicycle from just down the street. This was an all seafood medley from Make Taco on the corner just East of the fire dept and Cruz Rojo.
The menu, as it turns out, changes with the availability of seafood.
I had the Jurel al la plancha in a taco. Very good.
The proprietor, Lalo Garcia, is expending considerable effort to provide a quality product. Give them a try. Turn off the main drag and pass the red cross by one hundred yards. It's on the next corner.

This is the main Red Cross with the Rosarito fire dept. next door. A few blocks North of the Rosarito Beach Hotel. I don't know of any other Red Cross except for Primo Tapia.

Don't assume everyone knows what town Tacos el Yaqui is in unless your place is a secret! Enough of us know it is in Rosarito, but think of the ones who don't who are salivating to try Make Taco! Sounds Great!!!:light:
