Linda looks a bit scattered and lets hope she doesnt get it together...but she is a big girl and may have a mind of her own. Luckily the models say
she will stay away from the coast but like Juan says...never trust a hurricane! So be on guard amigos...tis the season!
Lets hear some reports on Lindas effects as she dances up our way. Rain is forcasted here on the central coast for late today and tomorrow so road
reports would be sweet. Glad I did laundry yesterday!

tentatively tittering nervously at the moment. One looks at the cone on the models and thinks...OK, not too bad...but when you see those red blobs
moving up, ones confidence begins to waver.....we lost internet for a bit and I did sweat it a bit...back on now and sure hope it stays on so we can
see what way she spins.

How Linda looks this morning...some bed head! No rain here last night in Bahia Asuncion but internet says rain all day but just cloudy with dark sky
to the south and wind from the east at 8 knots. Sure would be nice to hear some reports from down south

We got no rain or wind in Asuncion last night and it did sprinkle for a few minutes this morning. The swell is about 12' looks like so far with a
breeze from the SE.
The arroyo was running between Asuncion and Vizcaino last night but might be clear now. The estero is filling up again at the edge of town with the
big swell...waves are up to the town bank now.

I am happy & relieved to report that Linda was pretty sweet here in Bahia Asuncion. We had a half hour of light rain and maybe gusts to 20 knots
and looks like about a 12-14' sw
Here I am having coffee with Linda this morning
the new stairs to the beach are still standing
it rained last night just out of town but not here at the point....no baseball today.

Here in GN started a light drizzle about noon, then some rain that filled the potholes leaving some beautiful puddles. Then some more rain and wind,
nothing too heavy.... At 5 pm still passing big fat gray clouds with patches of blue here and there.
Hot and humid. Power and telephone are ok, internet slow (as usual).

Wind picked up around noon shaking the planes in their tie downs. Only 1 drop of rain but temps dropped from 104 to 92. Hotter here than in Chivato

La Bocana was boiling today. Thank goodness Les had an A/C installed and the solar power can handle it ....
The schools are even installing air conditioners in the classrooms. That is one way to keep kids happy!

I am very happy Linda was so polite...even my plants survived this time! We are seeing sun, a very confused ocean and 25 knots of wind this morning in
Asuncion from Lindas tail end...waving as she dances out to sea....now for some cooler weather for a few days!
