I am heading to east cape and want to hire a fish guide at Cabo Pulmo or Los Frailes, do you have a recommendation? If not, where do I find the
pangeros? thanks

The Castro family in Cabo Pulmo have a palapa next to the La Palapa Restaurant on the beach where you can make arrangements for a panga. They are the
only game in Cabo Pulmo.
If the pangeros are on the beach in Los Frailes you might be able to get one of them to take you out. They are pretty much a commercial operation,
long lines, hand lines, etc.
La Ribera has a number of pangas that are well known for sportfishing. Good luck. FF
