All flags to be flown at half staff today and tomorrow for those that didn't survive the accident.

There will be a special wake held on Friday in remembrance.

This reminds me of a photo I'd seen years ago (don't remeber where I saw it... BajaLife mag maybe?) of a Tecate truck that took a corner just a wee bit too fast and flipped over. Tecate all over the road, and the dejected driver sitting atop his now ruined truck (and quite possibly career!).
Very sad post Randy. I'll do my best to remember the lost ones at this Friday's wake.

My wife is despondent. She recycles the bottles for flavored oils and vinegars.

Does anyone know

Does anyone know if there were survivors?:lol::lol:

Hey bajaandy--I remember that pic too!--it was in Surfer Magazine and again, I think, in Surfer's Journal. The horror.....

reminds me of the time

that a Tecate beer truck fliped over and these two guys from San Ignacio (true story?) pulled over by the side of the wreck and started crushing cans and cans, since there were so many just laying there on the side of the road. They had crushed all of the open cans and started opening good cans, emptying them and crushing them too. When all the sudden the federal showes up and sees them opening cans , emptying them and crushing them , and he goes (OIGAN CABRONES, Qhe CHINGADOS ESTAN HACIENDO CON ESOS BOTES?) What the hell are you doing with those cans? And they answer (esque vamos a vender el aluminio para comprarnos un 24) It's cause were gona sell the aluminum to buy ourselves a 24 pack

mexitron, andy-yeah i remember that tecate deesaster photo-the guy in it reminded us of our friend crow, so every time we would see the picture, we would laugh and make up stories of what crow did, how he did it, why, etc.

I can hear Don Jimmy's spirit chuckling away in my heart, for sure if he could the ol man would give you a kiss on the cheek for that story!

Saludos, Sara

O.K., on reflection maybe the old man wouldn't give you a kiss on the cheek for that story, (that is more my style, I must admit) but he would have gotten a belly laugh out of it, and for sure would have appriciated the humor of it.
