Uhhhh.....telling someone to stick in their neck is not the best way to use any forum....unless you are really committed to being an a-hole...

Go easy on him ged, he's probably been lurking on this site for a while and thought it was Nomad tradition to talk smack to each other...motoged - 11-3-2015 at 04:37 PM

Too bad; that's the worst part about this site is the fact that people treat each other so badly. It's easy to hurl insults and put-downs when you're
sitting at a keyboard and nobody knows who you are. Most of us are here to learn information about Baja. I would like to lob a well-crafted insult
at this guy and try to crater his chances of a sale but won't stoop to his level (sure is tempting though) .motoged - 11-3-2015 at 05:01 PM
When Insults Had Class...
These glorious insults are from an era
“before” the English language got boiled down to 4-letter words.
A member of Parliament to Disraeli:"Sir, you will either die on the gallows or of some unspeakable disease.”
"That depends, Sir, " said Disraeli,"whether I embrace your policies or your mistress."
"He had delusions of adequacy ."
-Walter Kerr
"He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire."
- Winston Churchill
"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure."
-Clarence Darrow
"He has never been known to use a word that might send a reader to the dictionary."
-William Faulkner (about Ernest Hemingway)
"Thank you for sending me a copy of your book; I'll waste no time reading it."
-Moses Hadas
"I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it."
-Mark Twain
"He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends."
-Oscar Wilde
"I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend, if you have one."
-George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill
"Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second... if there is one."
-Winston Churchill, in response
"I feel so miserable without you; it's almost like having you here."
-Stephen Bishop
"He is a self-made man and worships his creator."
-John Bright
"I've just learned about his illness. Let's hope it's nothing trivial."
-Irvin S. Cobb
"He is not only dull himself; he is the cause of dullness in others."
-Samuel Johnson
"He is simply a shiver looking for a spine to run up."
- Paul Keating
"In order to avoid being called a flirt, she always yielded easily."
-Charles, Count Talleyrand
"He loves nature in spite of what it did to him."
-Forrest Tucker
"Why do you sit there looking like an envelope without any address on it?"
-Mark Twain
"His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork."
-Mae West
"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
-Oscar Wilde
"He uses statistics as a drunken man uses lamp-posts... for support rather than illumination."
-Andrew Lang (1844-1912)
"He has Van Gogh's ear for music."
-Billy Wilder
"I've had a perfectly wonderful evening. But I'm afraid this wasn't it."
-Groucho Marx

Great stuff Motoged! The people quoted obviously had a great wit and intelligence. Makes for good reading!Hook - 11-3-2015 at 05:30 PM
I can't believe someone one-upped GB Shaw........but leave it to Churchill to do it.
Of course, I am sure there WAS a second night for a GB Shaw play. Churchill's glee was short-lived.
If half of his quotes were actually legit,
Churchill was his Century's greatest wit.
My favorite is still the less-famous one with Lady Astor,
Lady Astor: "Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink"
Churchill: "Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it"
Hey, pontangler, can we assume that your Tracker suffered the same fate as your house along the river?

Don`t you feel being in good company, Mr. Nasty? dtbushpilot - 11-5-2015 at 07:56 PM
Don't go pontangler, you fit in perfectly to the new Nomad attitude. Do a little research on who to "ball bust" and you will find some support.JC43 - 11-5-2015 at 11:16 PM

I totally agree! The BN attitude is "below the Biafra line".
@pontangler
I know some similar cars like yours standing around in Mulege. I was there about a week ago. Donno if those are Chevy or Suzukis. Let me know by u2u.
I`ll be back in Mulege to overnight and breakfast next week going up north .. can have a look at those. motoged - 11-5-2015 at 11:19 PM
Now I am confused again....which is the old and which is the new attitude?
And what is the Biafra Line?....never heard the term before pontangler - 11-7-2015 at 11:42 AM
Heu Gallesram. thanks for the u2u you tawked a whole lot of dodo.
Tell me sir, who is hiding? What on earth makes you think you knoew what happened beween me and your dear friend and salt of the earth
Clifford Taylor. I had a biz deal with cliffie and he changed things after the fact so that he cud raise his rates from 300 to 700 mo and didn't give
a rats ass about any inconvenience or expense to me. This is a long story...duz it not belong on other thread? I don't get you, sir...wut is your
beef.....I'm the one that got screwed by Cliffmeister.
It's a long story and not very interesting but it is my reason for not doing any more biz with your buddy nor can I recommend him because
of my true and genuine experience with him......I have never seen such wailing and gnashing of teeth...since everyone seems so interested in this I
will take the time to type the whole drool story up for the world. In the meantime ,Sir, what's with the nasty u2u? You do not have a clue what you
are talking about. I am tempted to "stoop to your level" and reprint your silly-ass diatribe. Or wud care to share it with the class....who's
"hiding" who is "a man"? Post your little note you sent me and a least we will know who is a FOOL!
