love it! Both of them ditched the kids toy trailers along the way. "I want something smaller than a Jeep!" "Polaris!" "chit, where are we gonna stow everything?" "We just get small trailers."

Friend of mine has a house south of Puertecitos. He has a collection of broken down trailers. People have begged him to please store it until they came back to fix it and pick it up. None has ever showed in 30 years.

Thanks Russ. Yes the trip was from Datil just North of Bonfil out past Santa Marta and out to the Beach at La Trinidad. It took use 9hrs to go 61 miles. It was a lot of rock hopping. The RZR work great and carry everything you need. The little trailer worked good except in the rocks. As you can see we put it on top to make it easier to get out. Just as much time get out as getting in. They only road was to El Gato. And the it was rock city...

So happy you made it out there and enjoyed the beach. I know at least one person who was really looking forward to this trip.

BTW -- These people are very experienced and know what they are doing.

Nice rant Harald. It looked to me like a good trip to one of the quickly disappearing remote areas left in Baja. Didn't see a lot of places to "resupply", so it only makes sense to carry what you need.

Nothing positive to say huh. I don't see where they "ditched" anything or left anything behind. Just easier to carry out this way.

Looks like they had a great time.

Looks like a great trip. Feel free to invite me next time :)

David ..clicking on the first map takes me to your photobucket page, but then redirects to least 8 other sites opening their own windows.

YES, the first click takes you to the map on the Photobucket site, and at the TOP of that map are some buttons... CLICK the + button (it is in a magnifying glass (ie. close up look).

This area at Trinidad is the bottom section of the No Wimp Trail. 4X4 ABC was probably the first 4 wheeler to get thru since the hurricane of last year. He did it in March, I think. Anyway here is the southern end from Triniada to Hwy 1 on GE.

This is what one sees after clicking the map image on Nomad... (after first click)

Now, see the + symbol in the magnifying glass along the top of the map/ image? CLICK on that (second click) and then you get a high resolution zoom in of the map.
