PBS had a special on. "Debt of Honor: Disabled Veterans". 8-9:00 pm, 10 Nov.
During the broadcast, the Vietnam segment had a quick blurb of a civilian Vet carrying a sign that said: "WAR IS HELL: ASK THE MAN THAT FOUGHT ONE".
It literally blew my chit in the weeds....... that was ME. i'm:
a) humbled
b)amazed and proud to be a part of history
c) ashamed to be a part of the machine that put me there; but not the fact I stood up to it.
Please, hug a VETERAN today.
For me.
Addendum: The snapshot was taken exactly 44 years ago today... Veteran's Day... November 11th, 1971 just outside of Gate 6, Fort Campbell Ky.

Not only today, every day. If you are not into hugging, a THANKS will work.
