We need to renew our vehicle's Baja plates for 2016. Does anyone know if it's possible to renew prior to Jan. 1?

I did,but they would not give me the 16 sticker.My truck exp.In Nov 2015.So they give me new Reg for 6 months,with DMW paper in truck.That proves Im
reg in 2016,with 2015 sticker.How silly,they cant give 16 sticker in 15.
