This may have been asked/answered elsewhere, but I haven't seen a discussion of getting an 180-day FMM online to be stamped at the border.
From Mexico Daily News:
"The INM says that visitors can obtain the tourist card, known as an FMM, or forma migratoria multiple, by entering the required information online,
paying the fee, now 332 pesos, with a credit or debit card and printing the document and proof of payment.
Does this really work, or will I get to Tecate with my deskjet printed document only to have to go through the regular process again to get another

It worked for me 2 weeks ago at Tecate. I was concerned, but it seemed everyone was trained up on the process and had seen several prior to mine and

Thanks 03dave! Very reassuring. I have always been treated fairly and with respect by the well informed and competent staff at Tecate, so I am not
surprised that they seemed trained up on this. I think I'll give it a try. Do I just take my printed document inside to the guy at the desk in the
little Migracion office and show it to him and get him to stamp it?

What did you insert for your departure date? Did you pick a date that was 180 days after your date of entry? I see that they ask you to input that

I put in that I would cross at Tecate on the 26 OCT but did not get to border until Oct 29. No problem. The 180 days was from the date that you
declare to enter Mexico.

Last few times we have crossed at SY, the process has been fast and friendly. The IMM officer actually help our friend complete her form. And we paid
right there at the counter. No trip to the bank.

True but anything that helps smooth and speedup the process I'm in favor of, but would need the online site to be in english before partaking.

Once on this page, you have to check the box at the bottom where it says: "He leído y acepto los términos y condiciones" and it will take you to where
you fill out the form.

So I went to the link: https://www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/solicitud.html
and filled in on my information and clicked on "Garder" which then took me to a page that said I, and my data, would be sent to the bank site to pay.
I did this as well and the receipt opened up on my IPad and I printed and saved it. However, I have no FMM paperwork?? For those of you who have done
this process, did you get something emailed to you or a FMM document to open up?? I do find the IPad messes things up sometimes.
