Need San Felipe breakfast recommendations

mrfatboy - 11-21-2015 at 04:11 PM

We are passing thru San Felipe on our way to Gonzaga next in the morning. Any recommendations for a good breakfast place?

If it's on a Sunday go to the El Cortez hotel for the Buffet breakfast. Hard to beat. Another good place is on the Malecon on the very north end last restaurant. George's is OK as a backup.

Chuyplace.
At the end of the Malecon (old habor end) second street in. Excellent eggs, bacon, potatoes......open air setting.

Parrots Cracker --north of town as you get to SF. On your left as you pass by EDR entrance --Parrots Cracker/Second Chance Retail Store.
Good breakfast everyday day except Sundays. Also good for lunch & dinner.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I thought parrot cracker didn't open until 3pm. So they do serve breakfast?

we was pleasantly surprised that one morning early,, not a lot of restaurants were open, so we stopped at Rice and Beans on the Malecon ,, and had a great breakfast, we would for sure go back

Pete's Camp

We've been pleased at the restaurant alongside the bar. Opens around 7:00 a.m. It's a few miles before San Felipe on the east side of the highway - big sign on the road.

I go with Pete's camp or Playa Azul...........both very good. Oh, Pete's camp is remodeling their inside eating area and will be ready sometime soon, Maybe this week.

If passing through going to Gonzaga, how about one of the places in Colonia Delicias (Km. 35-36)? Real Baja local style, and not so much tourist oriented...

We have eaten at three places there for breakfast, all good.
1) Chelo's http://vivabaja.com/618/page2.html
2) Marina's http://vivabaja.com/618/page3.html (set back a block or two from the highway)
3) Aniceto's (the biggest of the three, no photos, sorry)
