Is there a Home Depot in Cabo?

I see some references to a Home Depot store, but the HD website does not list one in Cabo San Lucas. (?)

I just searched Home Depot, Mexico... then entered the state (Baja California Sur) and got addresses in La Paz and Cabo San Lucas... Here's the map to the Cabo store: http://www.homedepot.com.mx/comprar/es/coapa-del-hueso/Tiend...

It is just outside of town on Hwy. 1.

Oh, cool. Thanks, David!

I'm now wondering if it has the same type of inventory as the HD's in the US. Can anyone tell me?

stores here are smaller than in the US

Down here we call it Home Depot Lite.

And do not expect inventory to be restocked in a timely manner...

Empty boxes that are on the shelves can sit empty for weeks if not months. Of course you will be told "next week we will get it." Or at least it was that way when we were remodeling our place.

If it is something you ready need/want then you can have it shipped down for about 25 -30% of invoice. Just depends if you really need something.

Sometimes you can find things at El Arco.

Happy Shopping!!

Hola and welcome to nomads.

cabp also has sam's club, walmart and costco and they are not as crowded as in the states.

depending on where you are, there are quite a few fairly well stocked smaller hardware stores.

you can also post your needs on a very popular website you can sign onto based in los barriles for advice on things needed.

BIEN SALUD, DA RAT

Yes, there is a Wal-Mart but Sam's Club never reopened after Hurricane Odile.

As far as not being as crowed...per capita I think it is about the same especially after work, fresh fruit & veggie days and of course on pay days!

The Home Depot in Cabo along the fourlane may be the only store in the chain that has a fabulous ocean view from the parking lot.

Also:

A completely different customer service attitude...They would rather tell you that it is not available, or they can't get any more, than to try to special order something.
