I just posted some photos of a trip we made to Coco's Corner in 2006 to spectate the 1000. We rode bikes along the beach from San Felipe to
Puertecitos, then loaded up bikes on trucks and went to Coco's - 100 miles of dirt at the time. And this was when the vados north of Puertecitos were
really bad (yes, we had an airborne experience).
I remember this from growing up in Sweden. I don't think the package is actually from 1964. David K - 1-21-2016 at 06:15 PM
That was very nice!
thanks for sharing!
We were pitting at the next checkpoint south of you in 2006 (El Crucero) with Carlos and his Baja Pits team. My wife and I with her son Josh and The
squarecircle helped with communications and kept a big poster board showing the progress of the huge number of Baja Pits members. The firt m/c was
hours ahead of the rest (around noon, I recall) and the Trophy Trucks began to arrive just as it was getting dark. Calamajué Canyon mud did a number
on many! We came home via Coco's Corner... Here are some photos there from Nov. 2006, a day or two after the race:

It didn't occur to me until now that you actually wrote the whole caption in proper Swedish...
