For many years this worked well, but recently is has become problematic. Consult a good Mexican real estate attorney.
can you elaborate on "problematic"? Paulclark - 1-24-2016 at 10:16 PM
There two issues, the first being as a Mexican Corporation you are currently required to file a tax return monthly which will cost $100/usd per month
depending on the accounting charge. At one time you could put your corporation to sleep, but that is not allowed anymore, and the second issue is
succession. Your US/Canadian will is not recognized in Mexico without a State and Court process having your foreign will recognized which will cost
$10,000 to $20,000 USD and a year. Bob and Susan - 1-25-2016 at 11:22 AM
i'm pretty sure a "Mexican Corporation" is supposed to conduct "business"
otherwise a non-Mexican is just "skirting" the lawligui - 1-25-2016 at 06:34 PM

in my case immigration and hacienda actually visited the property several times
checking for office and garage/building setup
they were very pleased to see the name of the company advertised at the gate
they told me that most fail their inspection(s)
I don't know what happens if you fail
they did not want to elaborate
