Just returned from the hot springs ar agua caliente (santiago) The springs are changed considerably since the last hurricane there is only one pool on the inside of the dam, but the downside of the dam is a large pool of warm water ideal for swimming. There where 5 camps at the time we were there with room for many more. You can also walk (climb) back in where there are beautifal pools with cascading falls ( 6 foot). It is a very calming place to go to.

take the road to santiago go past the zoo, follow that road till you get to the town of agua caliente approx. 3 miles stay to the right of school follow that street through town (follow the power lines) to another little settlement maybe 1.5 miles then just beyond that you will find campers on both sides of road. Santiago is approx. 70 miles south La Paz.
Just beyond Las Barriles
